glenview farmers market
The Glenview Farmers Market builds a sustainable, intelligent, dynamic, and ethical food system with local farms at its core. It is our mission to ensure that all residents of Glenview and the surrounding areas have access to the freshest, healthiest local food in a fun environment the entire family can enjoy.
Grown within 200 miles of Glenview, our local vendors sell seasonal produce, as well as meat, eggs, cheese, bread, pastries, fresh cut flowers, coffee, chocolates, French pastries, smoked fish, herbs and spices, honey and empanadas.
Located at Historic Wagner Farm, Glenview Farmers Market provides a wonderful opportunity to combine healthy food shopping with a visit to a working early 20th-century farm. The Heritage Center, the farm grounds and restrooms open at 10 am. Stop by the farm to check out our new Agriculture Adventure Playscape and Sensory Gardens.
Parking
Free parking is available in the Saints Peter & Paul Greek Orthodox Church and Historic Wagner Farm lots. There is absolutely no parking on Wagner Road. Please cross the street at the crosswalk for utmost safety. Wagons will be available for you to use at the market and to take your purchases back to your vehicle in the parking lot. There will be designated spots in the parking lot to return the wagons. Volunteers will come and collect them periodically. You can also take any available wagon from the parking lot and bring it over to the market to use.
Back again for 2022!
The Community Table features local non-profit organizations. Live entertainment is provided by local musicians. If you/your group is interested in scheduling a date during the market season contact Paula Hamvas. Please note performers are not compensated by the market.
learn more about the Glenview Farmers Market
The Glenview Farmers’ Market was started in 1988 by the Glenview Women of Today as a way of providing the community with healthy and fun food options. Every Saturday, farmers, flower growers, and residents would gather at Jackman Park to enjoy the fresh air and support local businesses. In 2007, the Glenview Park District began to manage the weekly shopping event. Since the most natural place to hold a farmer’s market is at a farm, the Park District moved its food marketplace to Historic Wagner Farm.
Our vendors are very supportive of the Northfield Township Food Pantry, making weekly donations of their fresh produce.

Thank You to Our Generous Supporters
Thank you to Glenview Bank & Trust® and Rotary Club of Glenview Sunrise for their generous support of this program. Thank you to Northfield Township Food Pantry for their help in publicizing the Link program and to our generous supporters. The LINK Match program is being made available through a generous grant from the Experimental Station’s LINK UP ILLINOIS program. The Experimental Station seeks to increase the affordability and accessibility of nutritious foods sold at Illinois farmers markets for low-income Illinoisans, rebuilding linkages between local agricultural producers and consumers. Link Up Illinois is a program that helps achieve this goal by providing farmers markets across the state with funding for Double Value Coupon incentive programs for Link Card (Illinois’ SNAP program, formerly known as “food stamps”) shoppers. Link Up Illinois also provides participating markets with training and technical assistance for implementing these programs successfully.
The Glenview Farmers Market could not operate without the support of the community. Here are some ways YOU can get involved.
