Stock Show

Enjoy a stock show and see steers, lambs, hogs and dairy cows. 4H and Future Farmers of America participants will show off their livestock projects to the judges. There will be three weight classes per species. First place in each class will compete for overall and reserve champion. These young farmers will also compete for Junior and Senior Showmanship winner.

Dairy Festival

Learn how milk gets from the farm to your table and the care farmers give to their land and animals. Here is a sneak peek at a few of the hands-on, dairy themed activities that will be offered

• Cheese making demos
• Dairy trivia
• Milk marbling art: create beautiful marbled paper using just food dye, milk, and soap
• Ice cream making
• Butter making in the Farmhouse
• Dairy Cow Meet and Greet
• Wagon rides

Food and Drink

There will be several food vendors onsite with food available for purchase – Sweet Memories serving delicious crepes, Dinky Donuts and Forza Meats. Also, Historic Wagner Farm’s Sweets & Treats Ice Cream Parlor will be open serving Homer’s ice cream scoops and non-dairy options too!

Radio Flyer Wagon Raffle by Friends of Wagner Farm

Did you answer yes? Then stop by the Friends of Wagner Farm (FWF) table at the Stock Show and Dairy Festival. Buy a raffle ticket for your chance to win a customized Radio Flyer Wagon! You can also chat with Board members to learn more about what we do!

Tickets are $5 each or 5 for $20. The winning ticket will be drawn at the end of the Stock Show. Cash only please. Winner does not need to be present to win. FWF provides stewardship and fundraising support to Historic Wagner Farm to expand programming, create educational experiences and enhance the farm property.

Professional judges will evaluate the stock and select a top showman in each species. Cash prizes will be awarded for first, second and third class placings with additional awards for Grand and Reserve Champions. Top Senior and Junior showman in each species will be selected with a prize of a belt buckle and cash award.
