The traditional paddle season begins in mid-September and runs through March, allowing for year-round utilization of the clubhouse while accommodating the needs of both sports.


Reserve Your Visit

Golf is currently closed for the season. All visits to play platform tennis require a court reservation (staggered start times for court usage).

Members: Six-day advance reservations can be made online at, in person or by phone at 847-657-1637; limited to one court reservation per day per membership, up to 2 hours max.

Nonmembers: Call 847-657-1637 and reserve court time 24 hours in advance.

Our COVID Safety Protocols

  • Paddle courts will be available for recreational play only and reservations are required. Reservations can be made 6 days in advance for members and 24 hours in advance for nonmembers by calling the clubhouse. No rental equipment available. Play is limited to two hours.
  • Players are not permitted to arrive more than ten minutes prior to their court reservation. No spectators allowed at this time. No demo paddles and ball hoppers are available.
  • For retail merchandise, restrooms, and beverage purchases. Capacity of clubhouse is 2 people.
  • Bathrooms and Water bottle fillers are available in the Clubhouse. Mask are required for entry.
  • Masks covering mouth and nose will be required for all participants while playing and while on the observation deck waiting to play. Please avoid touching the net. Hand sanitizer is being placed at all court entrances to be used before, during and after play.
  • High fives and handshakes are normally encouraged but for now keep your space from playing partners. Maintain at least 6 feet from the net and during changeovers, handle only your own racquet, bag, etc.

The Glenview Prairie Club offers Glenview residents the opportunity to play and learn golf and platform tennis. Our award-winning facility features a clubhouse that accommodates both sports with ample space for relaxing, socializing, and playing your sport of choice. Enjoy a premium golf experience on a challenging nine-hole layout lined with colorful landscapes and rolling fairways.

Platform Tennis, also known as “paddle” tennis, is a social outdoor sport played day and night by people of all ages. Easy to learn and primarily played by four people of various fitness and skill levels, Platform Tennis provides a combination of outdoor exercise, concentration, and athleticism.

The Glenview Prairie Club is a year-round public facility featuring:

  •         A platform tennis complex complemented by a state-of-the-art clubhouse
  •         Adult platform tennis instruction all year round
  •         Open platform court rentals for nonmembers
  •         Women’s and men’s travel league play

This 2600 square foot clubhouse includes the following amenities:

  • Outdoor patio seating
  • Fireplace
  • Event Space
  • Pro Shop

A glassed-in viewing area with an “open room” concept accommodates both golf and platform tennis events. If you haven’t been here in a while, stop by and enjoy the view!

  1. All individuals are expected to exhibit appropriate behavior at all times by showing respect for all participants, spectators, staff members, volunteers and for Park District property. This includes demonstrating self-control and appropriate conduct at all times, refraining from the use of foul or abusive language, making inappropriate or offensive comments.
  2. The Glenview Park District reserves the right to restrict, suspend, expel or deny access or participation in any program event or facility to any person whose behavior materially interferes with or disrupts the quality of those offerings, the enjoyment of them by other participants or the ability of staff to conduct or manage the activities or facility.

Minimum Age Requirement

Minimum age to be allowed on course is 5 years old.

Children ages 5-10 must be accompanied by and adult (18 years of age or older).
