pick-a-party packages and themes
From treasure hunts, to princess parties, dance parties, to pool parties, leave it to the Park Center experts to craft the best experience for your child and friends. The Park District has many options to choose from so everything will be taken care of for you. Sit back, relax and let the Glenview Park District party staff handle everything!
Party lengths are typically an hour and a half (2 hours for pool parties). Children will spend approximately one hour doing the selected party activity, then celebrate the remainder of the time in our party room where tables and chairs are provided. Room times may be extended for additional fees (dependent on availability).
Each package includes the party activity, games and two party leaders (unless otherwise noted). All other party items (invitations, goody bags, food and paper goods) are the responsibility of the party host.
Maximum of 30 children (unless otherwise noted).
Additional guests and additional time may be added beyond the maximum stated for additional fees, if time and space allow.
Full payment is required 7 days after booking.
Each birthday child celebrating with a Pick-a-Party or Splash Landings Party will receive a Park Center Birthday Party T-shirt. The price of the T-shirt is included in the cost of the party!

Tiny-Tots Party
Your little ones will love running around the Park Center’s Mini Gym. Children can play with many age appropriate toys (all toys are provided by Park Center). Toys include, crawl-through tunnels, building blocks and mats, mini-slides, scooters and many more fun toys for the little ones. Adults can socialize in Park Center’s mini gym and simultaneously watch their children play, as this space is open and free-flowing for all guests. Guests can enjoy food, drinks and dessert provided by the party host.
*Add our moonwalk, with a mini-basketball hoop and a slide attached to the side, for an additional $100.00. Guests always enjoy bouncing around in this fun-filled attraction.

Sports Party
Get your sports on! Drills, games, relays is what you will experience at a Park Center Sports Party. Party leaders will keep you guests pumped up with excitement. After an hour of fun in Park Center’s Mini Gym guests can enjoy food, drinks and dessert provided by the party host.

Princess Party
Guests will be transformed into princesses as they decorate an adorable tiara to take home. In addition, guests will play games, such as Musical Thrones and Princess Hot-Potato. All little princesses can come dressed up as their favorite princess! After an hour of princess fun, guests can enjoy food, drinks and dessert provided by the party host.

Afternoon Slumber Party
Everyone enjoys an Afternoon Slumber Party! Guests can come in their favorite P.J.s and bring their sleeping bags. In Park Center’s Mini Gym, party leaders will guide guests in sleeping bag races and mummy wraps. Shortly after, guests will make a craft to take home. After an hour of afternoon fun, guests can enjoy food, drinks and dessert provided by the party host.

Dance Party
Guests will enjoy an hour of dancing in one of Park Center’s dance studios with one of Park Center’s own dance instructors. The birthday child can choose between learning a hip hop, ballet, poms, cheer routine or any other style of their choice. Following an hour of dancing and crafting, guests can enjoy food, drinks and dessert provided by the party host.

Magic Mania Party!

Pottery Palooza Party
Be an artist at your Pottery Palooza Party! Guests will create their very own ceramics project. All clay, supplies and glazes will be provided. Completed pottery projects will be ready for pick-up two weeks after the party. After an hour of being creative in Park Center’s ceramics studio, guests can enjoy food, drinks and dessert provided by the party host.

Treasure Hunt Party
Help us find the lost treasure of Park Center! Guests make Pirate Hats and Treasure Maps to take with them on their 14-clue treasure hunt, which ends in the party room where each guest selects two prizes from a treasure chest. 20 child maximum.

Glow After Close with Playground Games
Park Center Parties and PlayGround Games are teaming up to bring you Glow After Close! Parties will take place after Park Center closes on Saturdays and Sundays and include two blacklight tripods and four activities of your choice. Extra activities and additional people can be added for an additional cost.
