Open Gym at Park Center can help you stay fit!

The Glenview Park District’s 12,500 square foot main gym in Park Center offers basketball and pickleball open gym throughout the entire year.

drop-in open gym

  • No reservation needed.
  • Masks must be worn inside Park Center and while playing. Participants will be asked to leave if unable to wear a mask properly.
  • Users must bring their own equipment.
  • Quarterly schedules are available at the Park Center front desk, the open gym desk and online. Schedules are ongoing and subject to change.
  • No fighting, abusive/offensive language will be tolerated.
  • Violation of policy will result in loss of gym privileges.

Beginning, January 3, 2022, Passes will be required for all Basketball and Pickleball Open Gym. Buy your pass at the front desk.

Pickleball Gym Reservations

Can’t make open gym times? You can now book your own pickleball reservation (based on facility availability).
Reserve a pickleball court for your group. Fee (R/NR): $40/$50 per court. Reservations must be made online.
Courts available for reservation in one-hour timeslots. Households can only book 1 court per timeslot per day.
A Household Number is required to make a reservation.

Making Pickleball Gym Reservations

Residents receive priority registration up to 7 days in advance; Nonresidents can make a reservation 1 day in advance.
The cutoff time to reserve a court is 1 pm, the day of the reservation.

Cancellations accepted up to 72 hours before the reservation begins.

Cancellations are for residents only. Nonresident reservations are nonrefundable. Cancellations must be made online and will not be accepted over the phone, in person or through email.

To change your timeslot, the reservation must be cancelled and then rebooked.

hoop pass

The Hoop Pass is a renewable annual pass for anyone who would like to shoot baskets or play basketball in the main gym or mini gym at Park Center when activities are not scheduled. The yearly resident fee is $50. Each additional family member from the same household is just $10. Applications are available at the Park Center front desk or download one in the link below.

Indoor Track

Park Center’s three-lane, one-eighth mile indoor track encircles the perimeter of the Main Gym and can be accessed from the 2nd floor. It is free for all residents and Park Center Health and Fitness members. Swipe your park district ID card for entry to the track. Don’t have a park district ID card? Stop by the fitness or Park Center front desks and bring proof of residency. Nonresidents may purchase a track pass. For questions please call the fitness desk at 847-657-3249.
