Celebrate your child’s adventurous spirit with a pioneer or nature-inspired birthday party. During a 1.5-hour timeframe, a special program will be led by trained staff with about 30 minutes allowed for gifts and treats.

Check out our variety of fun, nature or history-themed games and exploration activities for for children ages 4-12. Choose the best theme for your birthday child when making a reservation. Party activities last 2 hours.

Letterboxing Quest – Currently not available, returning soon!
Ages 8+
Combine hiking and treasure hunting to find The Grove’s hidden letterboxes. Experience outdoor fun on the trails by following the clues to the hidden boxes and stamping your journals. Each participant takes home a journal and the know-how to do letterboxing with their families.
Wildlife Adventure
Ages 4+
Surprise your friends with scaly creatures like snakes or turtles as one of your party guests. Activities include hands-on experiences with animals and artifacts, an animal talk, and a trail walk.
Discovering Dinosaurs
Ages 4+
Travel back in time to meet the dinosaurs, then return to the present and see their modern relatives. Children get a close-up look at live turtles, snakes, and birds.
Animal Detective
Ages 5+
Search for signs of animal life along our nature trails and discover the different clues animals leave behind. Make and take a trail guide using rubber stamps to help identify different types of tracks found on our walk and in your own backyards.
Tea Party
Ages 6+
Celebrate your child’s birthday with a Tea Party. Encourage guests to dress up in party clothes and we’ll provide the fancy hats, decorations, and dishes. Games, stories, and activities have a tea party theme.
Buggy Birthday
Ages 4+
Bugs and insects are the stars of this party where partygoers will discover creepy crawlers in their natural habitats. Games and a trail walk are included.
Native American Indian Pow-Wow
Ages 4+
Explore the culture of local tribes with a birthday party at The Grove’s Native American Indian Longhouse. Hands-on games and activities included.
Log Cabin Party
Ages 4+
Come to our “little cabin in the woods” to experience the life of a pioneer. Step back into a time when chores and daily tasks were done by hand. Find out how pioneers entertained themselves and guests with wooden toys and games.
